At 5:13 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing heavy rain.

This thunderstorm is located 10 km north of Falkland and is moving East at 30 km/h. Locations in the path include Silver Creek.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
