What: 5 to 10 mm of freezing rain followed by 15 cm of snow.

When: Continuing through today and lasting into Saturday.

Where: West-Central Manitoba.

Remarks: A major spring storm will give rain, freezing rain, and heavy snow to central Manitoba.

Travel will likely be hazardous. Road closures are possible. Prolonged utility outages are likely. Damage to some critical infrastructure is possible.

Prepare for disruptions to transportation, services and utilities.
