Blizzard conditions with gusty winds and persistent visibility near zero in snow and blowing snow continue.

Locations: Portions of northern Manitoba.

Total snowfall: 30 to 50 cm.

Time span: Ongoing today and ending this evening.

Remarks: A major spring storm is bringing heavy snowfall and strong gusty winds to northern Manitoba. Conditions will deteriorate quickly as accumulating snow occurs in conjunction with strengthening winds.

Avoid travel and outdoor activities, if possible.

Blizzard warnings are issued when near-zero visibility in blowing snow is expected.
