* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA
out 20 nm...
Terrebonne Bay...

* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 1054 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of
producing waterspouts was located over Timbalier Island, moving
northeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves.
Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
Timbalier Bay, Terrebonne Bay, and Timbalier Island.
