...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
East Fork White River at Seymour.
.Rainfall Monday night into this morning combined with another one
to two inches this morning through Wednesday is expected to bring
minor lowland flooding to the East Fork White at Seymour by
Wednesday morning. The crest is expected at Seymour Wednesday
overnight into the day on Thursday.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.
* WHEN...From Wednesday morning to Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding in progress.
County Road 725 N near Rockford floods. Indiana 258 east of
Cortland may flood. On December 8 2014 about an inch of water
flowed over Reddington Street near the East Fork White River
Bridge as the river crested.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 6.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 14.9 feet early Thursday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday
morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
