The Kaiyang County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning at 23:53 on May 16, 2026: It is expected that there will be lightning activity in towns (streets) such as Shuangliu, Jinzhong, Yongwen, Nanmudu, Zhaiji, Fengsan, Chengqu, Hefeng, and Nanjiang in our county in the next 6 hours. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, strong winds, hail, and other strong convective weather. Please be careful not to carry out outdoor activities in open areas and take precautions against lightning strikes; Pay attention to preventing adverse effects caused by short-term heavy rainfall, strong winds, hail, etc; Please refer to the meteorological disaster prevention guidelines for relevant units and personnel to do a good job in disaster prevention and reduction.
