Details
At 1032 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
moderate to heavy rain across the warned area. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible over some spots in the warm
area, however, most places are likely to get less than quarter inch
between now and 11 PM CDT. Flash flooding likely occurring across
low-lying and poor drainage areas. Latest radar trends showing
things getting better over northern and central Bexar County and
southern Comal County.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Universal City, Live Oak, Selma, Randolph AFB, San Antonio Int
Airport, Canyon Lake, Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell
Hills, Bulverde, Garden Ridge, Shavano Park and Hollywood Park.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
