Snowfall continues, with storm total snowfall accumulations to be between 40 and 70 cm.
An additional 5 to 15 cm of snow will fall today. Snowfall will be heaviest in the northeast corner of the province.
Light snowfall accumulations are expected tonight and Saturday.
Additionally, today, the fresh snow is combining with winds gusting up to 60 km/h to bring poor visibility in blowing snow in exposed areas.
Roads and walkways will likely be very difficult to navigate. Travel will likely be hazardous. Significant property or tree damage is possible. Roofs are at an increased risk of collapse under the weight of snow.
Keep roofs clear to avoid the danger of heavy snow loads. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
