At 18:55 on April 17, 2026, the Jimo District Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog: Currently, there is heavy fog with visibility less than 200 meters in the sea area near Daguan Island in Aoshanwei Street, our district. It is expected that from tonight to tomorrow, some towns, streets and coastal waters in our district will have heavy fog with visibility less than 200 meters and local visibility less than 50 meters. Please take precautions.

Recommendations

1. Relevant departments and units are requested to carry out anti fog work in accordance with their responsibilities; 2. Strengthen dispatch and command of airports, highways, ferry terminals and other units; 3. Drivers must strictly control the speed of the vehicle or ship; 4. Reduce outdoor activities.
