Hazardous winter conditions are expected.

What: 5 to 10 mm of freezing rain and ice pellets followed by 15 cm of snow.

When: Freezing rain continuing tonight and snow beginning overnight. Periods of snow ending Saturday afternoon.

Where: Flin Flon and surrounding areas.

Remarks: A major spring storm will give rain, freezing rain, and heavy snow to central Manitoba.

Travel will likely be hazardous. Road closures are possible. Prolonged utility outages are likely. Damage to some critical infrastructure is possible.

Prepare for disruptions to transportation, services and utilities.
