Locations: coastal Charlotte County, Saint John and County, and Fundy National Park.

Total rainfall: near 50 mm, possibly higher in thundershowers.

Time span: intensifying late this evening, continuing into Friday morning.

Remarks: A few thundershowers are possible tonight, possibly leading to rainfall rates of 5 to 10 mm per hour over some areas.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to rainfall amounts.
