At 439 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Lowndesboro, or 10 miles north of Hayneville, moving
east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Montgomery, Hunter, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Alabama State
University, Auburn University In Montgomery, Hope Hull, Woodcrest,
Dannelly Field, Maxwell Air Force Base, Snowdoun, Montgomery
Riverwalk Stadium, Pinedale, Alabama State Capitol, Manack, and
Barachias.
