Waters from Cape Hatteras to Ocracoke Inlet NC from 20 to 60 NM...
Waters from Ocracoke Inlet to Cape Lookout NC from 20 to 60 NM...
Waters from Oregon Inlet to Cape Hatteras NC from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 259 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 41 nm east of
Diamond Shoals to 31 nm southeast of Monitor Marine Sanctuary to 39
nm southeast of Ar250, moving east at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
