...FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR WESTERN AND MOST OF CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA MONDAY...

.Critical fire weather conditions are likely across western and
most of central North Dakota Monday. Southerly winds of 25 to 35
mph with gusts up to 45 mph will shift to the northwest in the
afternoon and evening, initially in western and then central
North Dakota. Relative humidity values will drop to as low as 15
percent. There is a low chance for isolated showers and
thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening over the north
central, which could cause stronger erratic wind gusts. Any fires
that ignite could spread rapidly and become difficult to control.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect late Monday morning through Monday evening.

* WINDS...South 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph, switching to
the northwest in the afternoon and evening.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* AFFECTED AREA...Western and most of central North Dakota.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
difficult to control or suppress.
