Waters from Little River Inlet SC to South Santee River SC from 20 to
60 NM...
Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM...

At 557 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located 25 nm southeast of Sunset Mid Shelf Buoy, moving
southeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
