Precipitation is expected to begin as snow or ice pellets over eastern areas on Tuesday evening, with significant accumulations possible over some areas. Precipitation may transition to freezing rain on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning while the area of snow pushes westward into central Newfoundland. The snow, ice pellets, or freezing rain is expected to persist for some areas through the day on Wednesday and Wednesday night, potentially lasting into Thursday evening in the west.
