Potential freezing rain amount: 2 to 5 mm.

Time span: overnight tonight until Wednesday evening.

Remarks: Precipitation is expected to begin as snow, and then mix with or change to ice pellets over most areas. A period of freezing rain may also follow in some locations before precipitation tapers off.

Accumulations of snow and ice will likely create slippery and hazardous travel and walking conditions. Even small amounts of freezing rain can make travel difficult.

Consider adjusting travel plans to avoid the most adverse conditions.
