At 13:55 on April 26, 2026, the Danba County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds: Zhanggu Town, Badi Town, Geshizha Town, Donggu Town, Mordoshan Town, Jiaju Town, Gezong Town, Banmenmen Town, Dandong Town, Bawang Township, Suopo Township, Taipingqiao Township and other towns will experience thunderstorms and strong winds within 6 hours, with gusts of up to level 8 or above, accompanied by strong lightning. Local areas may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, hail and other severe convective weather, and safety precautions need to be taken.
