...Critical Fire Weather Conditions Expected Saturday...
.Gusty southwest winds, low relative humidity, and drought
conditions will combine to cause critical fire weather conditions
from Osceola and southern Brevard counties southward to the
Treasure Coast and Lake Okeechobee region.
The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Fire
Weather Watch, which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through
Saturday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA... Osceola... Okeechobee... Coastal Indian
River... Coastal Saint Lucie... Coastal Martin... Inland
Indian River... Inland Saint Lucie... Inland Martin... Inland
Southern Brevard... Mainland Southern Brevard.
* WIND...Southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph.
* HUMIDITY...As low as 32 to 35 percent.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
