At 10:55 on May 4, 2026, the Toksun County Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the evening of the 4th to the night of the 5th, gusts of 9-10 levels will occur in the urban area, Xia Town, Bostan Town, Guolebei Township, Yilahu Town, Shiquan Town, and Alehui Town of Toksun County, and gusts of 11-12 levels will occur in Keran Town and the thirty mile wind zone (G30 and G312 lines from Dabancheng to Daheyan section), accompanied by varying degrees of sandstorm weather.
