Maximum wind gusts: westerly 90 km/h.

Time span: easing later this morning.

Remarks: Strong westerly winds are expected to develop later this morning on the back side of an intense low pressure system moving towards Newfoundland. The strongest wind gusts are expected along parts of the coast.
