The Jiutai District Meteorological Observatory in Changchun City issued a yellow lightning warning signal at 20:35 on May 5, 2026: It is expected that there will be scattered lightning weather in our district in the next 6 hours, and some areas may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds, or small hail and other severe convective weather. The District Emergency Management Bureau and the District Meteorological Bureau jointly remind us to pay attention to prevention work.

1. The government and relevant departments shall carry out lightning protection work in accordance with their responsibilities; 2. Pay close attention to the weather and take lightning safety measures during outdoor activities. Do not shelter from rain under isolated objects such as trees, poles, or tower cranes.
