Southwestern Holmes County in the Panhandle of Florida...
Northwestern Washington County in the Panhandle of Florida...
* Until 1030 AM CDT.
* At 1002 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over De Funiak Springs, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Walton, southwestern Holmes and northwestern Washington
Counties, including the following locations... Hinsons Crossroads,
Five Points, Douglass Crossroad, Pleasant Ridge, Whitehead
Crossroads, Alpine Heights, Ponce De Leon, De Funiak Spring
Airport, Argyle, and Westville.
