...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING DUE
TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR A PORTION OF NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA...

* WHAT...South winds 23 to 33 mph with peak gusts up to 45 mph,
Relative Humidity as low as 22 percent.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Nebraska.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.

Recommandations

A red flag warning is issued when we identify weather conditions that
promote rapid spread of fire which may become life-threatening. This
does not mean there is a fire. These conditions are either occurring
now or will begin soon. It is important to have multiple ways to
receive information from authorities.
