At 23:11 on April 19, 2026, the Liangshan Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds in Xichang City: it is expected that thunderstorms and strong winds will occur in towns (streets) such as Dongcheng Street, Xicheng Street, Xincun Street, Hainan Street, Chang an Street, Madao Street, Beicheng Street, Baru Town, Anning Town, Chuanxing Town, Gaocao Township, Kaiyuan Township, Daxing Township, Aqi Town, Langhuan Town, Zhangmuqing Town, Huanglianguan Town, Lizhou Town, Anha Town, Jiujiu Township, Taihe Town, Youjun Town, Sihe Township, Ma anshan Township, Yulong Township, etc. within 6 hours, with gusts of up to level 8 or above. And accompanied by strong lightning. Thunderstorms and strong winds may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, hail, and other severe convective weather.
