The National Weather Service in Key West has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Straits of Florida from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to 20 nm west
of Dry Tortugas out 60 nm...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 630 AM EDT, a possible strong waterspout was located 16 nm south
of Twenty-Eight Foot Shoal Light. The possible strong waterspout
was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats, cause
considerable damage to vessels and create suddenly higher
waves. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly
higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours.
* The possible strong waterspout will remain over mainly open waters.
Recommandations
Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
seas. Seek safe harbor immediately.
