At 206 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles north of Strong City to 10 miles southwest of
Cottonwood Falls to 5 miles south of Florence, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Cottonwood Falls, Strong City, Florence, Burns, Bazaar, Elmdale,
Matfield Green, Cedar Point, Hymer, Wonsevu, Tallgrass Prairie,
Saffordville, and Tallgrass Prairie Preserve.

Recommandations

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
