At 341 AM CDT, Local law enforcement reported flash flooding across
portions of the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Rolla, northern Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, St. Robert, St.
James, Richland, Dixon, Crocker, Doolittle, Newburg, Edgar
Springs, Stoutland, Jerome, Devil's Elbow, Northwye, Vichy,
Laquey, Swedeborg, Ozark Springs and Rosati.
This includes the following low water crossings...
Montogue Creek at Highway E, Smoky Hollow at Highway J, Tavern
Creek at Highway U, Mill Creek at County Road 521, Jones Creek at
Highway O, Shakerag Creek at Highway H and Norman Creek at County
Road 4220.
Recommandations
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
