The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Central Piatt County in central Illinois...
Southeastern De Witt County in central Illinois...
Northeastern Macon County in central Illinois...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 638 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Maroa, or near Clinton, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Weldon around 645 PM CDT.
De Land around 650 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include

Interstate 72 between mile markers 155 and 173.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 161 and 168.
