The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Northwestern Clinton County in south central Illinois...
Northeastern Saint Clair County in southwestern Illinois...

* Until 830 PM CDT.

* At 752 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Scott AFB, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

* This tornado will be near...
Mascoutah, Scott AFB and Lebanon around 755 PM CDT.
New Baden and Trenton around 805 PM CDT.
Albers around 810 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include Summerfield,
Damiansville and Bartelso.

This includes Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 23 and 27.

Recommandations

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
