The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Clay County in eastern Arkansas...
North central Dunklin County in southeastern Missouri...
* Until 1030 PM CDT.
* At 940 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Maynard, or 11 miles north of Pocahontas, moving
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Piggott, Corning, Rector, Chalk Bluff Natural Area, Reyno, Knobel,
St. Francis, Pollard, Greenway, McDougal, Success, Peach Orchard,
Datto, Saint Francis, Crockett, Tipperary, Hickoria, Brookings,
Twin Oaks, and Palatka.
