Southeastern Brown County in south central Indiana...
Bartholomew County in central Indiana...
* Until 1215 AM EDT.
* At 1152 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 8 miles east of Nashville, or 9 miles west of
Columbus, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Hope, Elizabethtown, Hartsville, Clifford, Jonesville,
Newbern, Waymansville, Gnaw Bone, Grammer, Spurgeons Corner,
Azalia, and Stone Head.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 57 and 73.
