...The National Weather Service in New Orleans LA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi...
Wolf River Above Gulfport affecting Harrison County.
For the Wolf River...including Landon, Gulfport...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wolf River above Gulfport.
* WHEN...From late tonight to early Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Bells Ferry Road will be impassable with
deep water on the east bridge approach.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 5.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tonight and continue rising to a crest of 9.5 feet early
Monday morning. The river is expected to fall below flood
stage Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
