* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
between 6 and 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

* WHERE...St Lawrence Island.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Wednesday to 4 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest wind will arrive shortly after
midnight Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday afternoon.
Afterwards, wind gusts will remain elevated, up to 45 mph through
Thursday afternoon. Temperatures on Thursday will warm into the
low to mid 30s and while there will be some blowing snow, the
impacts should be less.
