At 811 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Neoga, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Shelby, western Cumberland and northeastern Effingham
Counties, including the following locations... Sigel and Trowbridge.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 57 between mile markers 160 and 178.
Interstate 70 between mile markers 94 and 105.
