* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Central Otero County in south central New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 515 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 319 PM MDT, Nearly stationary thunderstorms near Silver Lake
have produced over an inch of rain in about 30 minutes. This will
result in minor flooding in small streams and roadside ditches in
the area. Flooding may also impact parts of Highway 244.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Silver Lake, Elk Silver and Dry Canyon.
