* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northwestern Otero County in south central New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 700 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 404 PM MDT, Earlier thunderstorms produced 1 to 1.25 inches of
rain over several arroyos just east of Tularosa. These storms
have weakened, but runoff will cause arroyos to to flow in the
Tularosa Area, possibly inundating low water crossings south and
west of town in the next hour or two.
