At 15:11 on September 9, 2026, the Emin County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: strong echoes of lightning have appeared in the upstream of Emin County. It is expected that from this afternoon to night, lightning activity will occur in various towns and villages in Emin County, surrounding mountainous areas, and various regiments of the 9th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. There is a high possibility of short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds, hail and other severe convective weather in some areas.
