At 738 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 20 nm
southeast of Chandeleur Sound to 14 nm east of Louisiana Offshore Oil
Port, moving west at 15 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.
Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on
alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
