At 415 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
San Carlos Park, or 7 miles east of Fort Myers Beach, moving west at
15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Cape Coral, Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach, Captiva, North Captiva Island,
San Carlos Park, McGregor, Pine Manor, Lovers Key State Park,
Southwest Florida Airport, Harlem Heights, Iona, Cypress Lake, St.
James City, Villas, Three Oaks, Pine Island Center, Saint James City,
Whiskey Creek, and Page Park.
