* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southwestern Hidalgo County in southwestern New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 930 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings along County Road 1 south
of Animas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 722 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Lower Deer Creek, West Pigpen Creek, Animas Creek, Walnut Creek,
Gillespie Creek, Double Adobe Creek, Deer Creek and Oak Creek.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
