At 1040 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southeast of McConnelsville to 6 miles
east of Hocking Hills State Park. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Parkersburg, Athens, Marietta, Belpre, Nelsonville, St. Marys,
Glouster, McConnelsville, Mcarthur, Beverly, Albany, Coolville,
Chesterhill, Lake Hope State Park, Vienna, Williamstown,
Sistersville, Boaz, Washington, and Newport.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 181 and 186.
Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 1 and 16.
Route 50 in West Virginia near mile marker 1.
