Be aware that thunderstorms may occur. Take extra care in exposed areas, like open terrain.

Localized flash floods may occur, blocking roads that cross river beds and drainage channels. Do not cross fords or other fast-flowing water in vehicles or on foot.

Drains and gullies may overflow. Stay away from all floodwater.

Lightning may kill or injure people and animals. Stay indoors away from windows. Do not shelter under trees.

Intense rain may reduce visibility. Drive carefully with lights on. Stop if you cannot see clearly.

Lightning strikes may kill or injure people in small boats. Wear rubber boots or shoes and rubber gloves.
