Showers and thunderstorms will continue to expand near Lake Moultrie
and eastern portions of Lake Marion through mid-afternoon. These
thunderstorms will be capable of producing gusty winds, locally heavy
rainfall reducing visibility 1 NM or less and cloud-to-water
lightning. Mariners are encouraged to seek safe harbor.

Boaters on Lake Moultrie and the eastern portions of Lake Marion
should seek safe harbor immediately. If caught on the open water,
stay as low as possible and wear a personal flotation device.
Remember, if you can hear thunder you are at risk for being struck by
lightning.
