At 146 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bynum, or near West End-Cobb Town, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Anniston, Jacksonville, Fort McClellan, Saks, Cobb Town, West
End-Cobb Town, Weaver, Ragland, Ohatchee, Blue Mountain, Alexandria,
Neely Henry Lake, Jacksonville State University, Southside, Neely
Henry Dam, Sulphur Springs, and Wellington.
