Accumulating rain will continue tonight and Saturday.

A low pressure system is bringing heavy rain to northeastern Manitoba. A total of 30 to 40 mm is expected. Rain will be less intense tonight but will pick up again by Saturday morning. Rain will end Saturday evening.

Parks and forests will likely sustain some damage. Landslides may occur in vulnerable areas such as steep slopes, deforested areas or recent burn scars.

Watch for washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to rainfall amounts.
