* Special Marine Warning for...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 534 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 16 nm west of Altamaha Sound to 19 nm west of Saint
Augustine, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

High Point, Nassau Sound Approach Buoy 6a, Buoy F, Vilano Beach, St
Simons Island Village, Palm Valley, St. Simons Island, Talbot
Island, Saint Andrews Sound, Saint Johns Lighted Buoy, Dungeness,
St Simons Sound Buoy 9, Atlantic Beach, Mayport, Amelia City, Buoy
Cdh, Jekyll Island, South Ponte Vedra Beach, Jacksonville Beach,
and Buoy Kby.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. If your vessel is
caught offshore, immediately secure for heavy weather. Ensure all
crew members are wearing USCG approved Type I life jackets and
nonessential crew are below decks. Deploy jack lines and harnesses if
available. Check life saving equipment, including batteries on
handheld radios, for readiness.
