A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to Portage
Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle
Royale National Park...
At 807 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Pigeon Point to 11 nm
northeast of The Western Lake Superior Buoy to 28 nm east of Oak
Island, moving east at 40 knots.
