At 805 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
RDU International, or near Cary, moving northeast at 10 mph. A
second strong storm was located just north of Knightdale, also
drifting northeast near 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, Garner, RDU International, Apex,
Morrisville, Knightdale, Rolesville, and William B Umstead State
Park.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 280 and 305.
Interstate 440 between Mile Markers 1 and 16.
Interstate 540 between Mile Markers 0 and 24.
US 1 between Mile Markers 94 and 101.
the Durham Freeway between Mile Markers 2 and 4.
