At 408 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southwest of Chesapeake, or 11 miles east of Madison, moving
north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Chesapeake, Marmet, Belle, Cedar Grove, East Bank, and Seth.
This includes West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 82 and 89.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
